August 20h 10:30, Bangor Marina, Belfast Lough
First a shower then breakfast. Leaving the berth for the fuel pontoon. Filling up diesel and then heading out of the marina. Weather looks good with a decent forecast. My plans are to be at East Maiden lighthouse not later than 15:30. Then I can catch the northbound tides to be at Rathlin Sound around 20:00. Rathlin Sound has some severe tidal stream reaching up to 6 knots with races and overfalls known as Slough-na-more. There is a “time gate” of a couple of hours to catch. Let´s see if my calculations are correct. Heading at north 10 degrees.
